Student Life - The Last Semester

MSU-IIT, College of Engineering, Iligan City

This is my last semester in college. I hope it would be my last... College life..challenging.. [sigh..]. Thesis project is the most tedious one... I can't just imagine the output of this research. I am a Metallurgical Engineering student at MSU-IIT, here in Philippines.. some say it's one of the prestigious schools in the country.. I say.. well, you got to see the truth.. lack of laboratory equipment and others are the major drawbacks in this institution.

I think this issue should not be taken for granted by the Philippine government. Politics has always been an issue in this place. The students are trying their best to use the equipments that are not fully functional. Well, this is a Philippine top three school? And the government is not doing their best to support the students here?.

DOST accredited schools like UP, Ateneo and, etc. have their best in terms of laboratory materials, is it because they are situated in the National Capital Region, and they should deserve to be taken cautiously by the government? How about the schools in Mindanao? Do you think they're getting what must be of them at the first place?. Sad, but true... Schools and Academic institution here in Mindanao don't always get what they must have.. But to think that MSU-IIT is one of the top engineering schools in the country, then I must admit that students, here are really good in finding means to perform what has to be done during their laboratory experiments?

Ang tawag jan is common sense..LOL.
